Growing up dancing, Syd has always been a creative with a love of movement. They have trained extensively as a dancer with House of Jazz Company in London, UK and as a member of The Verdon Fosee Legacy’s Professional Training program.

Sydney has spent the last 5 years working closely with 2 companies; TYT Theatre is Toronto, CA and Response Theatre in London, UK.

Syd has developed a love of theatre for younger audiences through her involvement with TYT. Her work with TYT Theatre includes Spongebob The Musical, The Little Mermaid (choreographer), The Hunting of the Snark, Junie B. Jones and Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus (Director/Choreographer)

They have been involved with Response Theatre Company, the UK’s first Meisner Based dance company, since its start in 2022. After spending several years workshopping this new movement technique, combining the basic principals of Meisner with movement, they helped debut the companies first full length production “I Made You A Mixtape” in spring 2025. They have continued to work as the Resident Director for Mixtape on its second and third London run in 2026.

As an educator, Sydney continues to teach dance and musical theatre to all ages across Toronto, having taught at Randolph College, Toronto Film School, Generations Performing Arts and various other workshops and intensives.
